Jump Pads

Jump Pads allow for very fast movement across a map or the ability to jump over Hazards into otherwise unreachable gameplay areas (unless you have a Mutator).

Jump pads can be good, but detract from the freedom of movement if you use too many of them, please keep them to a low amount, and they aren't necessary for a lot of maps.
I would have to respectfully disagree with you Samburnett. I feel that if the jump pads are implemented in the same manner as there are in Station, where if you time your jumps up the side stairs, you will jump "into" the jump pad, thus conserving momentum without the awkward initial hop into said jump pad.
That being said, I do agree with your arguement that they do detract from freedom of movement if not placed correctly.
