I played the demo for this game a few days after it came out.I supremely liked it.The 4vs4 players lie confused me at first, but even with 3 vs3 it plays good.Graphics also confused me first(the visual bloom or whatever it's called was a little bad), but everything was overshadowed by how good the gameplay was(I think its good partly because of my skill with it(I'm #1 or #2 in every match if I remember right, occasionally # 3).The reason I didn't buy it on the spot was because I had no money at the time :( .
However, my biggest fear about this game is that not alot of people play it.Combine that with the inevitable flock of people migrating to PC Nexuix on May 10th....(can't play it on pc, it's too crappy for modern games even on lowest settings)....Maybe I should risk away $15 to buy the game....MAybe I shouldn't...What do you think?

Well 1st off it's only $8.99 on steam right now. I have been addicted to this game for the past week or so and they seem to be listening to the community a lot. I recommend buying it. I am going to buy it in the next few days. This game is really competitive and I'd love to see the devs host some tournaments themselves along with some people from the community hosting their own.

I work for Infamy Gaming and I am going to host 4v4 tournaments in the upcoming months and depending on the turn outs I'm willing to host a league format. If you would like to join some of our community members and have a good time come talk to us at InfamyGamingdotnet/forums. Our website launches Friday and I will be sure to post some news about Nexuiz.

If you're worried about not many people playing it then spread the word. Social Media is powerful. I don't see why you don't think a lot of people wont be playing Nexuiz though.

$8.99 on Steam?Trust me, I would just buy the game outright when it launches, but like I said, my PC just isn't god enough.I looked on the system requirements , and know that I definitively can't play it.
If it wasn't for that, I'd think about joining your infamy gaming [clan].

And as for me not thinking alot of people not playing Nexuiz, I do remember waiting some time for matchmaking when I played the demo when the game came out.Add that to the possible decreasing people that play the game AND other matchmaking "problems" that I've read in other people's review for this game.....Just worries me that if I buy the game, I can't find a match.

(P.S.=Does anybody know if more people play this game on PS3 or Xbox 360 ?)

First off.. I don't have the game, yet, but I'm going to buy it today (Xbox360). I have a PC that's good enough, and I also have a PS3. I'm buying it for Xbox because it's more comfortable to play on the console as far as my setup at home and I'm getting it for 360 instead of PS3 simply because I feel that the Xbox Live service is more reliable than PS3 and also the simple fact of the Party Chat and in game chat options on Xbox.

I havn't even played the game yet but I know that I'll like it and I'm all in ready to support it (my good friend is also getting it today as well). This type of shooter is our thing and always has been.

I don't know for sure but I think the matchmaking in the demo is different from the full version; demo players only play with demo players, full version players only with full version players (I think).

So you'll always find a match with me man! Get the game asap and we'll play! My gamertag for Xbox is Void Reality, send me a request and message so I know who you are. See you on there!

I can't speak for the xbox population as a whole, but i don't think they'll be migrating over to PC. Most people don't purchase games twice, and PC nexuiz and Xbox nexuiz are going to be pretty different in terms of feel and mechanics.

I would relate Xbox Nexuiz to Halo, and PC Nexuiz to Quake 3 Arena.

It's not a similar game, it's just similarly paced. It FEELS like halo. It doesn't play like Halo.

Alright,I'd like to thank everybody on their comments on this thread, and that has cleared up some confusion. For example,I had no idea that donly demo player play with other demo players and vice versa(although that's a bit odd since other games I think doesn't do that and it only gives the illusion that not alot of people if they have some ,matchmaking 'difficulties'.)

So I've decided that I'll buy the game when I get more money to spare(in the upcoming weeks)and then I'll send out some friend request(s).
Oh and I have 2 questions to ask to anybody that can reply to them:
1)Can you play the game 4vs 4 now?
AND
2)Can't you bring a full party(6to8) people in the game without getting split up by a party limit(not talking about team switch)?

1.Yes, Matchmaking supports 4v4 now but It will short start if there are 6 players in the matchmaking lobby. It counts down from 30 seconds and other players can join or leave during the countdown. This can make for some long search times if you can't find a last person to start or when a 6th or 7th person enters and leaves the same lobby over and over again.

2. You can only have a max party of 4 and normally you will be split up if you happen to start a 3v3 game. I've had games where we started 4v2 but that's probably a bug. So it's best to back out before the timer ends or if you have host and don't want to lose it, let one of your party members leave and reinvite him. Players you invite (or if they join you) should normally be added to your party.
