If I was to theoretically organize the first tournament for Nexuiz on the pc, would format would you guys like to see? I was thinking Duel style (1v1) because there are very little teams out there that are organized and ready, unless you think otherwise!

Everyone should be getting VERY excited, as there's a 100% chance of a massive Nexuiz tourmament coming your way very soon Stayed tuned for me as I begin to wrap things up. Please vote away on the poll above ! There's a better chance of having 1 duel tournament one day and then having a 2v2 tournament the next (or a week after).

The tournaments that I will be running will be get players hyped up about the Nexuiz release, so tell your gamer friends about it, tell them to keep their eyes out for my accouncements and soon enough we'll have some huge audiences (I'm talking thousands).

Since I'm unable to decide whether or not this first tournament will be Duel or Teams, I have decided we will have this one as 1v1 Duel style. The reason for this is, is that myself and others (including you) still need to get a good grasp on how this game works out in a competitive style. By having less players, we can crack down on important rule implementations or changes, map decisions, and much more.

But have no fear -- competitive team tournaments will be available shortly upon the completion of this first tournament.

I have opened early-bird registration to the duel tournament, but please read the rules and regularly check the tournament page for updates, as I foresee many new things being added/changed between now and tournament day.

If you do not already have a Fragged Nation account, you must register in order to participate in the ladders and tournaments in the Nexuiz section. I highly suggest that your Fragged Nation username should be either identical or very close to your Nexuiz username (which is your Steam friends name).
