seeing the new update today about various issues the team is working on something caught my eye which may or may not mean anything. When talking about being stuck after someone dies, it reads that it is fixed in the title update. in others such as the stats saving, it says it is being looked into. does this mean we shouldnt expect to see the stat issue fixed in the next update or rather that the update will be held up until most issues are worked out?

The update may well be held back, as I think Microsoft limit you to how many free updates you can have for your game.

And according to Tim Schafer, that limit is one. So, yes, it'll probably be held back.

Do not confuse Free Update with Patch. Usually, a free update is for adding new content, patch are to correct bugs and problems.
A developer can release as many patches as he wants, but updates not.

Good info, thanks! I was just going off what a friend said Tim said...which is something you should never do without checking for yourself. Oh well!

Generally when we say we're looking into something it means we're trying to find the source of the problem and fix it still, if we say it's fixed in the TU that means it will be in the TU we're preparing right now.
