Heya,

while we're still trying to figure out the logistics of Nexuiz, I'd recommend just playing around with what the free crydev info has. It may be too difficult for you to get our assets over into that version of the editor and back into ours. Theres just some mass differences that may not be worth the headache. Once we find out the state of the editor, I will be making an official announcement about it's status.

If it all falls in line, i hope to make some tutorial videos as well!

Thanks

Kedhrin, what about porting solids (BSP) from free CE3 to the Nexuiz SDK? I'm not familiar with CE3 but in UE3 or UDK it is possible to export brushes as .t3d and import them into different versions of the engine. Say I prefer the brush editing tools of UDK but wanted to make a map for UT3 (much older version of the engine) it is possible to do so by exporting as .t3d.

CE3 does not use BSP . Mapping in CE3 is a bit of a different process than UDK. Read the free sdk documentation on how level objects (Doc 2. Sandbox Manual) are created and used; As well, asset creation (Doc 3. Asset Creation Guide).

thats why I said solids which CE3 does use which is basically the same as BSP. I was only mentioning BSP as a comparison. :)

Solids in an external layer from the free sdk will probably work :)
