woops actually i need more info how do i even tell if this game was patched and if not where can i get the patch cuz its rediculous how many problems im having with just this one game

The patch should be automatically delivered through steam, jigsaw. To check whether it's been delivered, verify your game files

hmmm well if it was automaticlly installed i dont got it i still got it setting my time limit to 8 and crashing all over the place.... hmmm ok im in F:\steam\steamapps\common\nexuiz what file do i look for to confim the patch or do i have to do something totally different all together...

woops nevermind i found ur instructions on forcing a a patch update but i dont have the varify game files i only have verify integrity of game cache defragement cache files delete local game content and backup game files

That one. It basically checks if files are corrupt, but also functions as a way to check if there are any files that are out of date.

ah ok so that one will check if the patch or files are out of date hmmmm well what if there not being properly updated by steam is there a file in the folders i could look up to see if it was patched or some kinda console comand?

Features:

If you see this, then you're running the latest version.
And apparently in the game.log file there's a verion number.
