Wow, the first patch already. Nice work! It doesn't seem to fix the problems I'm noticing, but that's okay. It's only one day after the initial release. The fact that you've released a patch already shows how involved you guys are Kudos!

Very true....how often do you see a first day patch based off the community. Not often at all! Says alot about the team.

This is awesome i always wanted to see ping so i can tell who teh laggers are I might jump on my dedicated box and play wit i cant threw remote desk crap

Potential is where you get any players from, obviously. And you're not using a very good statistic. Please read what it says. It says x players recommend the game. That is in no way, shape or form an accurate measurement of how many people have those games. I Never recommend games. Can't be bothered, really. Nobody cares anyway.

Dude, it's obvious you're not into this game and that you're not willing to support it. I have no crashes whatsoever, but I do know that some people are having those issues. Give it some time, will you?

Also, buy a more cost effective computer next time. You won't be as disappointed

Thanks so much for fixing the custom match mutator off thingy, and thanks again for the rest of the patch Tiggs!!! You guys are so hard at work, and it's inspiring to see such a responsive dev team that puts hard work into their amazing artwork (Nexuiz). Thanks so much again!

i saw no patch and as far as i can tell the game isn't any different than it was at beta(except client doesn't say "beta anymore)...DM mode still missing which is a big hole in an FPS IMO but i'm not here to whine i was just wondering how do i tell if i got a patch installed from steam? there's no version # i can find anywhere

[EDITT] found version via console 1.0.0.2595 is this current? if not how do i force update from steam?

To force an update on steam, or attempt to, you can verify your game files. This is done using the following steps:

1) Right-click Nexuiz in your games library and select "properties".
2) On the furthest right tab of the dialogue which appears, there is the option to "verify" game files
3) Click this and any out of date files will be updated after a short checking process.

This will update any files if you haven't already got the update.
The easiest way to check if you have the latest update is to check whether players' pings show up as numbers or as graphs.
If they show up as numbers, then you have the latest version (this was only changed in the latest version. This will not be true in subsequent patches.

Also, the console version is nowhere near the same version as the PC. The PC is a far later patch. A patch for the console version will come after the PC version is fully stable, however i have no idea of an actual date.

Btw, DM mode is a future plan for the game There is no ETA for this though, as the devs are ensuring that dedicated servers and the netcode are improved upon feedback first.

omg reinstalled on steam restart etc. no update or patch on pc and verry game cache kinda this method do absolutely nothing!

thanx for the help merc...and also for the news update i agree netcode optimization should be a priority so i'll just wait patiently for DM mode tyvm for your time

P.S could u verify current version? steam verification didn't seem to update anything as i still see the same version # in console
