Currently we are waiting for this to be possible. However I would recommend Multiplay in the future for a few reasons: First off: Clanforge, which is a really handy remote management system that is simply a website you visit to configure your server/do whatever you need to do to it, add maps, etc. Secondly, they have machines in Chicago, thirdly, most likely you will get a free mumble server with your rental. The price for about 8 slots, going off of the prices of other cryengine 3 games they host, I have been told will be roughly $150USD For a year for an 8 slot server. (Going for a year is the cheapest option due to the 20% discount that comes with it)
This is for a branded server, meaning that your server name has the word 'Multiplay' in front of it, resulting in a discount, you can get this removed for a fee. However I doubt that they would allow the purchase of a server with anything below 8 slots, that said you can limit the amount of slots in a server or make them private, but this would be a costly way of doing things. If you want the TDM server though, they would be highly recommended. Bear in mind that they don't have access to the code yet to test/get the exact pricing. I host a TF2 server through them and despite the machine I rent getting ddos'ed in recent days they have been relatively pain free.

Hi. I want to rent a Duel (2 player) server. Where and how much would it cost for a public chicago server? Also, how much for an 8 player public TDM server?
Thanks! :-)

We use NFO server for all our US based servers. Their reputation for providing the best servers in the US is second to none. Both Multiplay and NFO provide a web base control panel to manage the servers. NFO is still waiting for the devs to release the dedi server files so they can get our servers running.
We can only hope that the devs will allow trusted server providers to rent ranked servers. But as of yet the dedicated servers are unranked and managed by the devs.

I used to rent from NFO for both UT2004 and UT3. I rented duel servers, but I would pay for additional slots so that there could be spectators, and sometimes I could convert the server to a temporary TDM or CTF server for fun.
I have also rented a Minecraft server from Multiplay, but my experience regarding that was VERY bad. I'm not against multiplay, only their Minecraft servers.
NFO had some great technical support, however their denver server went from 48 ping to 110 ping, back down to 96 ping. It never recovered, which forced me to stop paying for that server. Believe me, I spent a ton of time with their tech support only to be told there was nothing they could do.
However, that would not prevent me from getting another NFO server in the future. I'm simply saying that their Denver location became unplayable for me, which is partly my ISPs fault for changing routing.
This time around, I'm going to get a Chicago server because it's closer to me and hopefully there will be more people playing than UT2004 or UT3. The reason I used to get a denver server is because it was a good half way point between West Coast and Central. Dallas was too far south for certain west coasters to get acceptable ping.
Thanks,

To my understanding we have not announced any info on renting out servers. Checking in on the irc could provide some more info.
