I waited long for a fast paced twitch shooter to come out on 360 and loved the demo. But before I buy it I would like to know if I will find games and most importantly if I will still find games in a month or two. I browsed around a bit on the forums and it gave me the impression things arn't going that well..

That would suck.

The big issue for people on xbox was the fact that stats were not saving, unfortunately the process to get a patch out to xbox is not as speedy as steam. It has been a struggle trying to get this game 100 percent.

Ugh, no. There's enough pissing-contest profaggotry around already. Do not want more of it.

Sadly this is one point the 360 fails big time at and from what i heard it costs a lot of money to release a update on a game.

Yeah there's another thread on the forums where you can find the article. It was taken from the UberEnt developer's forum for Monday Night Combat (small dev arcade game for 360) and they said it's very well close to 40,000 to patch.

Yeap thats what Tim Shaffer/Double Fine said as well for their games. This is the reason why the popular Team Fortress 2 ´died on the consoles when all steam updates etc are free, same for Left for Dead.

I got this game yesterday. I loved the game but there's nobody on it. It's like it's a very old and forgotten game. Like the game "Baja edge of control"

After stringing us along saying that they were working on it for at least half a year they finally told us they wouldn't be fixing the issues. I had to ask to find out, the info was NOT volunteered by them here on these forums. That's why I'm not coming back. They even said they announced it, but they sure didn't announce it on this forum (I used to check all te etime in hopes of finally reading about a fix), I have no idea where they announced it. I had to ask via this thread to find out:

http://forums.nexuiz...been-abandoned/

I find the whole situation to be lousy and a bad way to support the fans who purchased the game and supported Illfonic in doing so. We bought a buggy mess and then they abandoned our version. They SHOULD be offering our money back.

Ohhh so thats what happened? Yeah I've checked here occasionally just to see that if they issued any sort of update on the patches. I honestly can't say I'm surprised by any of this. I would be if I wasn't so used to it from other small dev companies that make games on both console/PC who run into the same issues.

My issue with their issues has always been PR and the way it's handled. Unfortunately I bought this game for 800 points, and I don't feel it was worth the price. I had plenty of fun when I could find good servers and good games, but it was too tough to find a positive experience rather than negative experience.

Very similar with Monday Night Combat, by Uberent.. however that game was the best game I've ever played for 1200 points (currently 800) and I spent way more time on that than many big name releases.. Cod/Halo Reach etc.

If I purchased the game for 200 points, it'd be okay and then worth the money. It's a shame honestly, but I'm glad they're deciding to keep the servers up and running, just incase there are others out there who want to play. I haven't in months, and don't plan on it anytime soon.

Sucks, I was hoping this game would take me back to the days of Unreal Championship on the original xbox circa 2001 or 2002.

Thanks for the info Simeon.
