I noticed a lot of issues with this "Black Screen" stuff, but I'm experiencing a white screen issue. The game was just gifted to me on steam today and I haven't been able to find anyone else with this issue. I'm uploading a screenshot of my screen.

My computer specs are good -

Radeon 5850 graphics card
Intel I5 750 processor
8 GB RAM
Windows 7

How can I fix this issue?

This game has shader model issues until they fix them really you cant do anything.

What are your settings set at in the video options? this looks to be one of the community designed maps 'CB', if so they are still under development. There could be some lighting issues that still need to be addressed.

Have you tried updating your DirectX files and AMD drivers?
It looks to me like it's rendering one of the deferred shader passes as the final frame.

I've tried setting them to the preset low options, preset high, and preset ultra, none of them seemed to work. It also didn't work at 1280x720 or 1920x1080 res :/

Yes, I downloaded my latest AMD update after the first time I loaded this up because this issue existed, unfortunately, that didn't fix it. As far as DirectX goes, I'm fairly certain I updated those recently as well. I'm going to try loading up again and see if it works out of the blue. I'll post back with a response

No luck, I tested every map in a custom bot match and I still get the same thing. I'm a sad panda haha

Having an issue finding the DX files in the game folder, where exactly would the game folder be if I had the electronic download come from the steam store?

c>program files x86> steam > steamapps> common > nexuiz. should be in there?

Edit: Could you also add these lines into your system.cfg

log_verbosity = 4
net_log = 1
log_WriteToFile = 1
log_WriteToFileVerbosity = 4

and post us your game.log file. it could tell us if there are some assets that cant be found or loaded

Updating DX didn't help, thanks for telling me where to find it.

Game.log wasn't permitted to be uploaded, so I opened it and resaved it as a .txt file, and here's that.

What will adding those lines to my system.cfg do?

Got excited when the update downloaded. Still no dice. Anyone have a clue?

Can you run DX 11 try that it should work but i have issues as well DX 11 runs fine but DX 9 don't now on XP its not even recognizing my graphics card this game needs fixes.
