When i try to launch Nexuiz it says: Installing Microsoft vc Redist package. After it waits a few seconds a window coming up says Nexuiz has stopped working, windows is searching for a solution to the problem. Then it says a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is avaiable.

Please help I would really like to play this game.

Hi, try validate the game on steam:
right-click the game, properties, local files, verify integrity of game cache.

If that doesn't detect any missing games, I recommending removing and re-downloading the game.

I've done the things suggested int he first reply, the links in the second reply won't open though. They just go to Internet explorer cannot display this webpage.

I'm not sure if any other packages are needed for Nexuiz.
