That's not a single guy. It's a project called quake done quickest, one of the most famous quick runs ever. They finished the whole game in 12 minutes by finding ways that none of the quake mappers would ever have imagined.

Its been well over 10 years since I've played that.. yet I still remember some of these levels and playing it with my dad when i was only 8 or so years old

I remember logging days and days on Quake TF, using the old MPlayer client. Anyone remember MPlayer? I didn't think so.

I love it when he gets frustrated and sort of growls! "rrrrrrRRRRRRRR"

Damn funny.

As a person who got his first good computer with a REAL video card just because of Quake 1, I LOVED watching that Quake Done Quickist video. Wow! I've played Q 1 campaign at least 10 times, it was really cool seeing all of these routes through maps I THOUGHT I knew well, and so expertly executed as well. I like how sometimes the player would lob a grenade ahead of time and get there in time to be blown somewhere neat, the fluidness and expertise of the player(s) was impressive. That was dope.
