If you have a ps3 do not get it for the 360, get it for the ps3. Custom maps and a much bigger community with dedicated servers.
I have both and the 360 is weak in comparison

It is the worst arena shooter yet. If you want to play UT3, Get PS3 or PC Version.

Game is horribly slow, everything is watered down, 7 people play the game, and is beyond garbage.
The other versions have way faster speed, bigger communites (iamgaming.com/forums), dedicated servers, custom maps, and MODS.
Even every once in a while cash prize tournaments.
You are wasting your time playing UT3 360.

well fo those who cant play it on a PS3 or PC 360 is the only one. I didnt like the game when it came out either play it for like 6 months or less and went back to play 2004 on the PC but at least you can mess around there until the patch comes out for Nexuiz plus its only like 7$ no big deal.

If we could play Unreal Championship 2 i would vote for that but we cant so UT3 only thing on xbox while we wait for the patch for nexuiz thats pretty much all we are saying.

It's the best arena FPS for the 360, hands down. I don't have a PS3 or PC(that can play UT3), so it's the best choice for me.

Honestly, anyone that has to choose between eating and buying a $7 game should probably get their priorities straight before posting anything on a forum.

You ought to get UT3 and play with us. I won't bug you anymore if you still think Nexuiz is where it's at after that. If the Nexuiz networking gets up to UT3's quality after the patch, I may juggle both games. I see no reason we can't play them both.

If someone is willing to download Xlink and give it a shot, UC2 might be doable. I've messed with it, but Xlink on linux is a crap shoot so far. My next step would be to use a virtual machine to run Windows XP and try that, but I'm not excited about it. Also, xboxconnect(xbc) might be easier to configure for some people.

This will most likely be my primary multiplayer game for a while(and Nexuiz if patched well). I'm actually considering getting a PS3 just for this game.-but that depends on when the next gen console arrives as I believe UT4 will be released with that. The game was ahead of its time and beats pretty much all the multiplayer games that came after it IMO.

I agree. I just wish epic didn't drop all the innovative features they added with UC2. I hope the next UT on console is a successor to it. I'd love to see character classes and adrenaline moves return to the series, as well as the deeper weapon depth.

I know I talk about UC2 too much, but they did a lot of really cool and unique stuff with it. It sucks to see the series take a step backwards in that regard.

I really like unreal's weapons. The translocator, biorifle, link gun, shock rifle, all so unique and interesting.

Nexuiz has rockets that are interesting. Electro and mortar are neat as well, but not as much.

Then Nexuiz has a clancutter, hagar, and ravager. There's also a crylink and shotgun. Lots of redundancy IMO.

Cliffy said in a video he might want to do a 4th, but due to how low the fan base are for arena shooters it won't be in the near future. Sad when UT is a realy good game franchise when it comes to pure MP.
