For those that are not familiar with IRC, here are directions to the web client:

• Navigate to https://gamesurge.net/chat/
  
• Type in a Name that you want to be seen as - Like BestFriend4ever
  
• Click Connect
  
• Once it is connected in the window type /join #nexuiz
  
• You will be put into the Nexuiz IRC chat room

Yes, if you use mIRC then in the server list look for Gamesurge and connect. Once connected type /join #nexuiz
