Tell the truth, IS there gonna be a release on ps3? i came from ps3 to xbox just to wait for Nexuiz, n even then only to hang around on there waiting for the ps3 release, IS it gonna happen ??

I know there hasn't been any news about the PS3, but it will come.
Making a title like "Tell the truth" and doubting the devs with "Is it gonna happen" is quite disrespectful.
The logo shows on the Nexuiz page and it's been officially announced that it will come to the PS3.

Loads of sites show the game aswell, without a release-date of course.

I remember reading somewhere that microsoft wanted it as an exclusive title so that was why pc and ps3 were pushed back. I have nfi how long the game has to be on 360 for exclusivity but you are just going to have to wait like us pc players. I don't like to get your hopes up but i wouldn't be suprised if the release date is the same as the pc launch date which is some time in the middle of next month after the pc beta.

Saying that though the game should eventually come out on ps3 the developers obviously intend on doing it eventually otherwise this forum wouldn't exist.

Sorry for the late response being the main forum communicator i was out of town at PAX east, at this time there has been no talk about cancelling the PS3 version of Nexuiz. However i am also unable to give out any specifics, hang tight and keep an eye on the PS3 announcements.

Thanks for givin the response, no disrespect intended , just a lil bored waiting already , waited a long time for this game n now that things aren't goin so well on xbox I'm just dying for the ps3 release that's all, I'm sure it will go down better on there than xbox, don't have a gaming pc so can't really get on that

Microsoft is and always was a pretty sh***y company. I remember working for a white box and components distributor in the late 90's and witnessing how awful and underhanded their dealing were (and many times proven to be illegal). Some people have made their break thanks to their dealings with microsoft but it doesn't change the fact that all around we as video game fans and consumers are worse off with their presence in the industry than if they had stayed out. I pretty much hate microsoft, even this supposedly friendlier and softer post bill gates piece of garbage they try to push themselves as. ya, I hate microsoft and have had more than one game become unavailable to me thanks to those f***ers. Let's not forget that industry leaders often set industry standards; who likes subscribing monthly to authentication servers as entry to P2P multiplayer (did you like pc nexuiz without dedicated servers?) and getting served a main course of dashboard advertisements for your premiums. Thanks XBOX, can't wait to see what new consumer exploitations you come up with in your next generation of profit driven "consumer perks".

Notice I did not say sony or anybody else was great, but this post is made because while Nexuiz may not suffer PS3 delay because of microsoft $ (they are a small team pulling off the impossible, awesome I must say), these companies have in the past and still do pull this sh*t called "timed exclusivity" and basically acheive it through what is in spirit a bribe. I also do not resign to the idea, "well companies are there to make money". That is not in essence what a company should necesarrily be and is also a very crude idea of the human spirit at work in capitalism. Because of that "they just there to make money, is ok" attitude has resulted in almost countless point and title releases of multiplayer centric games featuring less options and features than the first "QUAKESPY" from 1996-1997 and a total erosion of standards for competitive fps.

Soooooooooo whats the deal? are we gonna see Nexuiz on ps3 or not? dont see any reasons for any secrecy, thats xbox out n now pc version, wha tha fuh ??? no disrespect so before anyone jumps on it all i wanna do is find out if theres any point in holdin out any hope for it or just to move on, surely sombody somewhere has the info on this ?? c'mon guys spill the beans.
i went on xbox for the initial release n stuck with it, then after it kinda died off i been hangin round on ut3 ps3 just waitin for the green light lol throw me a frickin bone here

As someone who once used a PS3 regularly and experienced these content/game related frustrations, I am a little disappointed to see there has been no update regarding an answer to the question this topic serves to state.

I have a feeling the game will be out for the PS3 at the same time as the DLC with all the updates on it for a better version compared to when the Xbox version was released.
