The game is great, but this is an absolute must have feature, especially with so many people dropping out mid game. Several of the games I played last night, ended with just myself against 3 others.

Yeah, thats some thing I miss so much in new Shooters on my xbox. Wish shooter where more like good old UT. Nexuiz is on the way, I think. And now, I will buy the game ^^

If people join in a loser team, they will quit the game.


(Here is an example:People play CTF and its 8-1 and a guy is joining the game and is quitting it, because he dont want lose the match.)
The biggest problem with Joining an existing game will be the host change every time.
This will make the match unplayable.

The biggest problem with Joining an existing game will be the host change every time.

But, if one of your team fly out of the game for different reason (xbox crashs or some thing like this), he can rejoin the game.
About the host problem: Why not letz one player open a server and the others join. Again, like in Unreal Tournament on PC.
Players can open a server and search the servers. That would be a much better system.

If people join a team that's getting owned and the game is almost over, they'll probably stay with the party until the end of the game at least.

You also have to take into consideration the frequency that players leave the game even before the game starts. And when half of a team leaves 3 minutes into a game.

This system can do no harm to Nexuiz.

Hey guys,

we just got this working on PC, so we should be able to get it moved over to Xbox 360 in our larger DLC patch, i hope. It should usually be a simple thing... unfortunately, things like stats, host migration and dynamic mutators being active made it really tricky.

You need to come up witha way to repopulate the 360 version. if you just release a DLC with patch and even if the Game gets so much better nobody will care at this point, honestly nobody allready cares about nexuiz 360. So rerelease along with some more Marketing, Promotions, give aways, Youtube vids, Rereviews of the Updated version, and everything you can think of. But still then i am not sure if it will be enough to reanimte Nexuiz360

Nice! Any ETA on when join in progress matchmaking will hit Xbox?

360 population isn't that bad, it doesn't take that long to find a match on Xbox.
