Fraps demo = 30 sec record time. =( Just messing around, 3rd game online in a private match. Didn't have much time to adjust my sensitivity properly. Just wanted to show what the game looks like... my way. Posted Image

Capital. You're gonna give the art team a heart attack.

How'd you get the graphics like that, anyway?

I dont care how to do it you nub, why would i want to play with those settings? look ugly as fuck. But some ppl want to try that out or like it and as you can see they dont know yet. and you trying to keep it a secret or sometihng by the looks of it.

Not sure why they would want to play like that other than the computer not handling the game well, then yes i completly understand if thats the reason other than that not sure why anyone would like those gfx.

How am I keeping this a secret if it is public knowledge as that video proves? As I alluded to in my previous post, I have stated the process numerous times and all whom ask will be given the video and/or personal instructions if necessary. The purpose of this is not to improve fps, I don't even believe it does anyways(1-5 fps maybe), but rather to make the viewing area as bland as possible. I personally find that this helps distinguish moving targets quicker as the human eye reacts to motion. You're basically removing the unnecessary "glits and glam".

I haven't seen you in IRC or anyone explain how you did that to make your game look like that. Could you please explain how?

It's still not readily apparent what it is that you're supposed to do: I downloaded the Geforce SLI Profile tool, put it on my desktop, exported the Nvidia Profile, used Ctrl F to navigate to the Nexuiz section of the profile, added "Setting ID_0x00738e8f = 0x00000050 UserSpecified=true" in the last line of the Nexuiz section of Nvidia Profile, loaded up Nexuiz after importing the Profile, and no dice. Now, I get that this section pertains to classic nexuiz, but what exactly is it we are supposed to do here, because the Nexuiz profile still points to a Nexuiz.exe, so shouldn't this setting still apply? It's not really readily apparent precisely what it is you are supposed to do in order to get this working. As we all know there are no .ini files to edit here in this Nexuiz, nor r_picmip or autoconfig.cfg to tweak, and I wish they would add a simple cvar for this sort of thing myself to be honest, even though I really love the art work in this game and thinks it's so beautiful. Thanks for pointing me in the general direction though :+)

This was the profile i had:

Profile "Nexuiz"
ShowOn GeForce
ProfileType Application
Executable "nexuiz.exe"
Executable "nexuiz-sdl.exe"
Setting ID_0x0064b541 = 0x00000000 UserSpecified=true
Setting ID_0x00738e8f = 0x00000050 UserSpecified=true
Setting ID_0x1033cec1 = 0x00000003
Setting ID_0x1033dcd2 = 0x00000002
Setting ID_0x1095def8 = 0x02400001
EndProfile

Worked fine after i imported the file back into the profile tool. Didn't really like it though, so removed it already. Just wanted to see how it looked.

Hmm, thanks Downward. I tried that but no dice =(. Oh well, I don't really need to change it to this to play the game anyway, lol. :)
