My server host would like to get more info to see if they can host the game. What should he do?
For more details on this i would contact Kedhrin via email or send him a forum message.

Is there any news about what OS the server will run on? Will there be a linux version?
i believe they said windows only
As for linux, I don't think the cryengine actually supports it at all. And I'd imagine it may be a task beyond illfonics realms and only Crytek would have the capabilities to integrate it.
However seeing as illfonic have developed stand alone dedicated server files and spectator mode I guess anything is possible

Also, very important question I would like answered; What are the bandwidth and system requirements for Nexuiz servers and if possible, per slot?

I have also requested a server thru NFO. John is in contact with Kedhrin and is waiting for the dedicated server codes/files. If the game can be hosted, NFO will host it.I have asked NFO to carry Nexuiz servers. They said they would look into it once more information became available. They are my GSP of choice even if higher price (they usually prove you get what you pay for). If they don't offer Nexuiz hosting outright then it's VDS time.

Hey, that's great! NFO is truly the best GSP in the United States! Thanks for telling them about Nexuiz =D I'm thrilled to use them for hosting =D They are super helpful, up front, and all around nice people.

So far no news on the dedicated server codes/files. I gotta feeling we won't have dedicated servers. I think someone dropped the ball here.
they have confirmed it will have dedicated server files, just wait till its release tomorrow

The server hosting companies have not received anything about the dedicated files/codes yet. If they aren't released to them soon we won't have the servers up in time for the release. The also stated that they would be in the demo and they weren't, that's why I said "I gotta feeling we won't have dedicated servers"they have confirmed it will have dedicated server files, just wait till its release tomorrow
