Any news of a fix or progress yet? Been waiting to play this game for a while now.

I had a horrible feeling that it might have had something to to with using a laptop. I disconnected it from the monitor too see if that would help and tried forcing the DX9 and DX11 in the Steam launch options but there's still the same problem. Best thing to do is just wait for a patch maybe?

Can you navigate to your steam > steamapps > common > nexuiz, under your dxmode.cfg. Here it should say r_driver="DX9" by default.  Try changing this to "DX11".  Alternatively if it is already "DX11" change it back to "DX9" and try this out.  Hope this helps!

I changed it from DX9 to DX11 and still no luck unfortunately Here's the dxdiag report though; hope it helps!

I've been having the same problem. I just bought the game and as soon as I try to start it up it crashes and I get the error message. Here's my game.log file after the crash when I pasted the 4 lines into the system.cfg file. Help will be much appreciated! I've been looking forward to playing this game and I don't want to have spent £7.99 for nothing!
