I wonder if a radical idea like going free 2 play will actually bring in better results. But that might be a risky path.

I just feel that having such a public beta right from the start might of been a mistake. There were too many people demanding for nexuiz to come out and then illfonic decided to do so by releasing beta keys. I just personally felt that there were too many beta keys going out in the first place. Because people often forget about the "beta" part and once they started playing they noticed that there were many bugs. This unfortunately put many people off. They probably should of picked the active members of the forums who would provide actual feedback. But it might be a little bit too late for that.

I just hope that whatever they plan on doing, it works.

50 - 100 million seems a bit too much for a small group like illfonic or any company for a matter of fact. I'd say they maybe had 250k-500k to develop a game.

You can just extract the audio files from the game. That's what I did. Plus one of the members on this forum beat me on uploading them to YouTube, so you could just look them up there and then download them

Dont forget this game is quite demanding so if you're running it on very high settings it might bottleneck. But there are also a few things that might need to be fixed and hopefully the crashes should be gone.
