As the topic suggests, is there an ETA on the standalone dedicated server package?

And what platforms can we expect it to be available for?

Hey Kon,

It really should be here shortly we are just ironing out a few issues. We plan to have dedciated servesr for Windows and Linux. Linux may come a little later as we still need to do some testing there.

That's awesome news! Last thing I heard that was that the dedicated server was going to be Windows-only. An arena shooter without a Linux server? Madness! Good to hear that I'll be able to easily host Nexuiz servers natively in the future.

Dedicated server will be available via steam or a direct download from here ?

for exemple, with steam start a server or update its easy, that will look like :

wget http://www.steampowe...supdatetool.bin
chmod +x hldsupdatetool.bin
./hldsupdatetool.bin
./steam -command update -game "nexuiz" -dir my_folder
......INSTALLATION.....

and for upadte:

./steam -command update -game "nexuiz" -dir my_folder
