Also remember that though the sale may bring new players, Illfonic released a buggy mess that doesn't update stats properly, if at all for some, and then promised to fix it for many months only to finally abandon the 360 version. They will not fix it. If you want a buggy mess for 200 points go for it. Look through these forums, you will see many complaints including quite a few by me detailing the many issues this version experiences. That they sold us this game and then abandonded it without fixing it sits all kinds of wrong with me.

I'm not soapboxing here...When people ask if they should buy the game, they should be made aware that it is almost unplayable for many and that they will likely experience the same issues most of us do with the game.

I got this game yesterday. I loved the game but there's nobody on it. It's like it's a very old and forgotten game. Like the game "Baja edge of control"

After stringing us along saying that they were working on it for at least half a year they finally told us they wouldn't be fixing the issues. I had to ask to find out, the info was NOT volunteered by them here on these forums. That's why I'm not coming back. They even said they announced it, but they sure didn't announce it on this forum (I used to check all te etime in hopes of finally reading about a fix), I have no idea where they announced it. I find the whole situation to be lousy and a bad way to support the fans who purchased the game and supported Illfonic in doing so. We bought a buggy mess and then they abandoned our version. They SHOULD be offering our money back.

I see. I check these forums often, I didn't see the announcement and now that you told me about it here I still can't find the original announcement on this forum. Did you make the announcement here on the forums or somewhere else?

In any case, I must say I feel dissapointed. Between the stats updating issue and the many other problems with the game for the 360 version I now feel like I paid to beta the game, being that you can't patch it. This doesn't go very far in instilling trust. How would I feel confident enough in the future to buy another Illfonic game when I bought this one not knowing it was broken on some very basic levels (bought it on day 1) and now will never be fixed? It's not like its small bugs, there are some very significant game changing bugs here. I can't feel confident, and it's a shame. The game is so close to great but the problems with this version make it hard to bear.

When the xbox patch with all the fixes is able to go out we will be sure to mention in it in the announcements!

No recent update has been made that I'm aware of. Maybe thirblood is mistaking the update that came out months ago for what he thinks is a recent one. Unless a dev states that a recent update is live I wouldn't believe it.
